Local 500 has certified the IT Field Techs employed by DP World, and a new first collective agreement has been ratified.

ADVANCE POLL:  8 am to 5 pm on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 only, at ILWU Local 500 Union Office.

To be eligible to vote in the Advance Poll a Member must meet one of the following criteria which must occur during the week of the Elections:

1. Book at least four (4) days of Vacation Time that includes the week of the Elections.
2. Be scheduled for treatment in a Health Care Facility on Election Days.
3. Be out of town conducting Union Business.

The Local 500 elections will be held today, Thursday, November 24, 2022, and tomorrow, Friday, November 25, 2022.

You can vote in the Despatch Hall or in Boardroom #1 at the Maritime Labour Centre.  Both polling stations are open from 6 AM to 6 PM.  There will also be a travelling ballot box as posted.

Exercise your democratic right.  Support your Union by voting.
