You must apply in person at the Local 500 office (except for Squamish residents which may still apply by phone).
Job applications are located outside the Local 500 office door, Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
Both copies must be given to the office. If you want a copy, take a picture with your phone.
Once the form is completed, place it through the mail slot in the door. Forms put through the door after 3PM on the Thursday will be considered late and will not be processed.

Bombardier Training – must be Bulldozer rated or on the Wheat Board
Gangway/Coastwise Training – open to Coastwise Board Members previously trained, those utilizing the rating regularly, those working Coastwise regularly
Topside Training – open to Union Members and A Board Casuals
Wheat Machine Training – open to Union Members and all Casual Boards
Wheat Specialty Training – open to Union Members and A, B, and C Board Casuals (must be fit tested and allergy screened)

Bulk Operator Training – open to Union Members and A and B Board Casuals
Head Checker Training – open to Union Members and A, B, C, T, and OO Board Casuals (must have TSC Transport Security Clearance)
Heavy Lift Truck (40 Ton) Training – open to Union Members and A, B, C, T, and OO Board Casuals (must be Lift Truck rated)
Loci Training – open to Union Members and A, B, and C Board Casuals
Red Dog Training – open to Union Members and A Board Casuals
RTG Rubber Tired Gantry Training – open to Union Members and A, B, and C Board Casuals
Switchperson Training – open to Union Members and A, B, and C Board Casuals
