Local 500 2017 Nomination & Balloting Notice
Elections will be held on Thursday and Friday, November 30 and December 1, 2017. The bulletin details the travelling ballot box schedule.
Advance Poll will be on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 (you must meet specific criteria to be eligible to vote in the advance poll)
The Annual Joint Industry Training for 2018 is now open.
You can apply in the Local 500 coffee room until Thursday, December 28, 2017, 3:00 pm (drop your application into the bin).

ADVANCE POLL: 8 am to 5 pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 only, at ILWU, Local 500 Union Office.
To be eligible to vote in the Advance Poll a Member must meet one of the following criteria which must occur during the week of the Elections:
- Book at least four (4) days of Vacation Time that includes the week of the Elections.
- Be scheduled for treatment in a Health Care Facility on Election Days.
- Be out of town conducting Union Business.
