There have been conflicts with outside truck drivers at the container terminals.
Our Declaration of Principles #2 says,
“We shall uphold the right of all to live and grow in a dignified manner and to
be treated with decency and respect.”
The truck drivers delivering and picking up containers from the terminals are facing tough times.
We are hearing complaints of disrespect. We should respect these drivers just as we expect them to respect us.
If there is any problem with any driver, let your foreman or superintendent know and contact the BA if the problem is not satisfactory resolved.
