If you are a Regular Work Force (RWF) employee who wishes to apply for a RWF job with a different employer you must quit your current RWF position before filling out the RWF job application form.
This rule is an Executive motion passed on June 15, 1999. Specifically, the motion reads:
“M/S/C that R.W.F. Employees applying for a Regular Work Force job at a different site must give 7 days clear notice to the company they are working for and also notify the Union before they make application.”
If you are applying for a different RWF job at the same job site, you are not required to quit your current RWF job.
