Attention Casuals – If you are a Casual employee BELOW the ‘A’ Board, these rules apply to you.
We are entering a very busy summer season with plenty of work opportunities ahead. In order to prevent shortages, we are implementing mandatory plug-ins.
YOU MUST PLUG IN 5 DAYS PER WEEK
2 of those 5 days must be Friday and Saturday
All Casual RWF Employees below the ‘A’ Board must work Fridays.
Failure to do so may result in charges, fines, demotions, or even de-registration.
If the Despatch Co-ordinators call, you MUST answer the phone. If you consistently ignore calls or refuse jobs over the phone you will be charged at the M&G.
Let this be a reminder of your obligations under Black Book Document 12 and language of the Collective Agreement Article 2.03

Unless otherwise mutually agreed, all Casual employees below the ‘A’ Board must accept and perform any and all work available in order to maintain their Casual employment status.

Such Casual employees … may be de-registered by either Party if their performance or conduct is unsatisfactory.
